FILM at the Erie Art Museum is a celebration of the social and cultural experience of cinema. Curated by filmmaker John C. Lyons, the weekly series will showcase an eclectic program of quality films and be a place or cinephiles and casual viewers alike to gather, enjoy, and discuss.
June 6 – Kickoff Event
Members of the Film Society of Northwestern Pennsylvania preview the summer film program and chronicle the history of film production and events in the region as well as their economic impact.
June 13 – There Are No Goodbyes (2012)
A lonely man finds purpose in his life in the current socio-political climate of blue-collar America. A special, work-in-progress screening of Lyons Den Productions’ new feature film which was shot in Erie, Poland, Ireland, and Czech Republic. Drama/Romance – PG13
