Overview

The Erie Art Museum offers art classes and workshops for children and adults year-round. Classes are open to beginners and pros, and are offered in quarterly class sessions. Topics offered include pottery, painting, photography, framing, drawing, bellydancing, and more. A complete list of current classes follows.

Most all classes meet in the 2nd floor annex of the Erie Art Museum (enter off of 5th street entrance between State and French) and all
clay classes meet at ClaySpace located at 1505 State Street.

This year the Erie Art Museum is partnering with Box of Light to offer exciting art camps for kids ages 7 & up. Parents will drop their students at Box of Light (419 State Street) and then work in the Museum galleries and classrooms to create imaginative projects with their friends and instructors!

Puppet Palooza
Create sock, shadow and marionette puppets then put on a show.

Transform ordinary stuff into musical instruments then perform and record.
