Be a part of this year’s First Class Exhibit – an exhibit featuring Museum instructors and their students! If you have taken or instructed a museum class in 2017 or 2018 we welcome you to join this exhibit and submit one piece of artwork. The piece does not have to be made as part of an EAM class, but it does have to have been made in 2017 or 2018. Then, join us for a celebration on Gallery Night, March 9 from 7-10pm.
Open to artists who live or work within 250 miles of the city of Erie, the jury process takes place in-person, in the Museum’s galleries. The Erie Art Museum is pleased to partner once again with the Art Department of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania to bring exhibition juror, Wendy Murayama to Erie. She will also present a free public lecture at Edinboro University’s Cole Memorial Auditorium at 7 p.m. on April 6.
