The 2020 Nicole & Harry Martin 97th annual Spring Show went digital this year. Artists who registered for the show were asked to submit images of their works to be viewed by independent, guest juror, Aruna D’Souza. D’Souza was provided with the image, the artist’s name, details about the work, and the artist’s statement for each piece. Selection took place on April 1, 2020. D’Souza selected 99 works to be in the show. She encouraged all the artists to keep creating, “Congratulations to all the artists who had the courage and the faith to submit their works for the show—keep doing it. It is an act of generosity to share your creativity with the world, and I thank you for sharing it with me.”
While we are waiting for the opening of the spring show to display the accepted works, we wanted you to see the works that were omitted. We are providing an opportunity for the artists to receive exposure and potentially sell their works. You will find a pdf of all of the works that were omitted from the show in the link below. Many of them are for sale.
In support of the artists, we are willing to pass along contact details of potential buyers to the artists. You simply need to complete the form below. If a work is not for sale, we will let you know, otherwise, the artist will be given your contact information and will be in touch. To allow artists to retain 100% of the sales, all sales are strictly between the artist and the buyer. The Erie Art Museum is not facilitating the sale, nor is it responsible for sales.
To view the omitted works, download the Complete List of Omitted Works from the Spring Show 2020.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the works that are for sale, please complete the following form.
