FAQs

I’ve never studied art. Do I need to be an artist to take a class at the Museum?

No, you do not need to be an artist. Many of our students are beginners with little or no experience. The class description will specify the level of difficulty or if any previous experience is needed.

Where do I park?

If your class meets before 5pm on a weekday, park on the street and feed the meter. There are several metered parking spaces on 5th Street and State Street. (Fifth Street meters allow you up to eight hours.)

Can my child/teenager take an adult class? Is there an age requirement?

The adult classes are recommended for students ages 16 and older. If you have a student that is younger contact us to see if this is right for your child.

I am not able to make every session; can I just pay for the classes I will attend?

Sorry, we do not offer prorated classes. You may be able to make up missed classes before or after class, depending on instructor’s availability.
