Join us for monthly Drop-In Drawing sessions at the Erie Art Museum! These sessions occur on the Second Saturday of every month from 2–4 pm and are open to all museum members and admission ticket holders.
This month’s Drawing at the Museum session, led by Deb Sementelli, will focus on site measuring, a technique artists use to achieve accurate proportions and perspective in their work. Using simple tools like a pencil or ruler, you'll learn how to compare sizes, angles, and distances to create well-scaled compositions. Learning this technique will allow for more precision and accuracy in your drawings!
Please note that in order to protect the art in the museum, please do not bring any liquid materials such as inks, paints, markers, chalks, compact or vine charcoal, or pastels. If you do not have your own drawing materials, some will be available at the Museum.
