Up Close With The Collection - January 2024

In celebration of our new exhibition, Joseph Plavcan: The Making of an Artist, experience a ‘first look’ of the exhibition at this private event while mingling with the local art historians and collectors who have graciously lent us their Plavcan paintings for all to enjoy. Hear first hand from staff and friends of the Museum who have searched for, researched, and studied these works to shape this exhibition, while getting a behind-the-scenes view of the works that did not fit in the show. This event will allow local Plavcan lovers and collectors to talk about all things “Joe” and celebrate the life and talents of one of Erie’s most well-known artists.
$50/person admission includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, one free drink ticket and all activities.
